I am so thrilled to offer Natural Watercolor Paint Making Workshops for kids and teens! Classes will take place at my studio and are drop-off workshops.
Students will create watercolors using natural earth pigments and will take home paint to continue their art-making at home. They will learn how to create a watercolor binder and mix pigments using a glass muller. Students will also learn watercolor painting techniques and create a work on paper using the paints they created in class. We will also create a pigment from a locally foraged rock!
Please provide your own safety goggles and dust mask.
My studio is right around the corner from adorable downtown Hillsborough which is full of restaurants, galleries, the riverwalk, and more. Treat yourself to a day downtown!
After you register, I will email you a consent form to fill out and return to me. I will also have copies available the day of class.
